Meet New Friends

The geography and the grounds of our community are world-class. But the people are what make Carlsbad By The Sea truly special. People like Mrs. Bransford who gives all staff members a birthday card. And Betty Halberg (a resident) and Betty Olguin (a night security guard), two women who share the same name and later discovered that they had much more in common. Now, they have a nightly ritual: “Goodnight Betty,” says Mrs. Halberg; “Goodnight Betty,” replies Ms. Olguin.
