Make A Difference

One of our residents, Norman Sprung, volunteers with the Police Patrol in Carlsbad. Once a week, he enjoys directing traffic, enforcing regulations and ensuring the wellbeing of our citizens. Not only is Norman making a difference, he also looks great in a uniform!

Another resident, Mildred Espy, finds joy in volunteering her time and energy in ways that add a special sparkle to the day. Her neighbors and visitors enjoy catching up with Millie at the SeaShell sundry store or look forward to celebrating a birthday at a gathering organized and planned with Millie's special touches. Like most of the Carlsbad By The Sea volunteers, she will tell you that she gets more than she gives. Her neighbors will tell you that Millie is a very special person and a valued member of the Carlsbad By The Sea community.
